I’m not going to be politically correct and say “Happy Holidays”. Christmas is a time of love, excitement, passion, family, and Christ Jesus’ birth. If we remove all of that and say “Happy Holidays” doesn’t that defeat the purpose of Christmas?
Side-note!!!
Also why are we allowed to say things like “Happy Halloween” and not “Merry Christmas?” Halloween has its roots in pagan religious about the devil and supernatural evils, and by saying “Happy Halloween” I find it ironic.
Back on track.
To be politically correct is not always the right thing. In the case of abortion, it’s the furthest from the right thing. Just because it’s the law doesn’t make it right. Slavery was in the law, it was Constitutional, but doesn’t make it right. The Holocaust was legal, doesn’t make it right.
Anyways, onto the real topic. Jesus Christ was born over 2000 years ago on this day. That day was the most glorious day ever until His second coming. On that day, the Creator of the Universe humbled himself to His creation. It’s like someone creating a statue, but when the statue breaks, so that someone becomes a statue to fix the statues. It makes no sense! Why would anyone do that? Christ did that, and that is genuine love! Not only did He humble Himself to become of a human, but He humbled Himself to the most dependent form a human, a baby. Praise God because He is sooooooo incredible. God did not come down here so that we can continue living for ourselves. He did not save us so we can ignore Him. He did not die so we can make fun of Him. He did not rise from the dead so that we can be lost into this world. He did however, love so that we have purpose and meaning. And praise God for that.

Those who say abortion is a choice clearly did not think of this. What if Mary aborted Jesus? Then we wouldn’t have Christmas, we wouldn’t have all these people knowing hope, we wouldn’t have joy in our lives, we wouldn’t have purpose, and lastly, we wouldn’t have been saved. Let’s continue to praise God because He is faithful! He has everything planned out, He knew us BEFORE we were in our mothers’ wombs.
